Why Should the Fire Die?

I hate it when you finish an excruciatingly long paper and print it off after revising and editing it and then realize you spelled your name wrong...ugh.

My fingers are still pealing from rock climbing over spring break. I went to Alabama and Georgia to climb rocks.  It was unbelievably fun.  Met some Canadians, a Bolivian (or Bulgarian...we weren't quite sure), and went night climbing with some New Yorkers.  Climbing under the stars is one of the most incredible things I have ever done.  I watched some unbelievably beautiful sunsets from the top of a mountain (or really big hill, it was kind of in between a hill and mountain), continuously laughed at Wyatt, almost froze to death every night, went five days without a shower :), ate around 54 s’mores, burnt all but five of the marshmallows that went into my 54 s’mores, melted the tips of my running shoes because I sat too close to the fire, and climbed a lot of rocks.

And then when I came back Krysta George, the neighbors across the hall, and I built a snowman that was taller than me...I had to stand on it to finish the head. The neighbors built stairs up to there fake porch (we live on the 2nd floor)...so the doors in the living room that lead to absolutely nothing served a purpose for a little while.  (for those that don't know, the apartments I live in have what looks like a deck or balcony off the living room...there are sliding doors and everything... well maybe not everything because they forgot the balcony part.  UNL calls them French patios...I think they ran out of money.) So that is what I did to celebrate the first day of spring.

And then this weekend Carly Forsmano, Krysta George, Liz Johnson, and I all played/danced in the rain and jumped in puddles at Emmy Lous house.  Quite fun.

I am totally skipping a class right now.... I feel like a rebble.  I have no particular reason as to why I am skipping it...besides the fact that it is so incredibly boring.  This is totally out of character for me...

Welp, besides the whole rebbeling against the system thing and the exploiding tree, life has been life.  Eating, breathing, sleeping, running.  Joy.

Tree exploided in the kiln.  Starting over....ugh. I now have a stump though...which is kind of interesting...but not.  (however, now it reminds me of that game with the frisbee that you pelt at one another until you're a stump...har har...I think its called razor...or maybe not.)  Today a homeless man sang me an elvis song...something about a dog or shoes...

Finished my tree in ceramics..quite excitted... until I put it into the kiln (those that don't know what a kiln is, its kind of like an oven...only it reached 2500 degrees and you don't put food into it)...and then it was like fall, without the whole leaves changing color effect.  I set it into the kiln and "tink, tink, tink, tink, tink" (noise of leaves falling off and hitting the bottom of the kiln)... AH!, all that work to attach them and then paint them and they fall off...ugh.  stupid leaves.

Marie is here for 20 days!!!  However, at the current moment in time she is most definetely under the weather.  She's staying with me, and the other day we snuck up to the 4th floor to get a matrice and then snuck back down to the 2nd floor... however, we weren't the best at sneaking around because there are cameras and I heard the front desk worker say "Why are they carying a bed around?" ...other guy, "maybe they're tired"

Off to eat with the grandparents...they are grand :)
